We’d love it if you voted for Park Cameras in the Amateur Photographer Good Service Awards:
This lens is fantastic for photography and video alike. The image stabilisation makes it a great fit for handheld shooting and the fast aperture allows you to get some great out of focus elements.

Agree 100% with your review. Are you wearing lipstick?
I’m planning to buy this lens. I currently own a canon 80D. Crop sensor. I’ve been using the 85mm for portraits. I’ve been getting great results. If I get a full body shot. The pictures tend to look grainy. Nervous on getting this lense since I’ve never tried it but after seeing this review. I’m definitely impressed
Your sunglasses are on top of your head! Just in case you would be looking for them…
Just ordered one yesterday, hoping it will be all you said. Thanks for the review.
Being a USM lens, does it make a noise with on-board mike in video autofocus?
Great video! How would you rate it against the new Batis 40mm? I am a Canon shooter with a 6D and couple of expensive and heavy 50 and 85mm primes. I am greatly tempted to buy a Sony full frame body with the Batis 40mm for daily walkaround use, but just getting this 35mm for my 6D would be lighter on my wallet instead of spending 3-4 grands.
A Nice all rounder lens that I should consider buying for my 6D Mark II when I've finally bought it, should be around Xmas time if the price is at a suitable price.
